Plogging in Stadsparken + documentary screening @ Wermlands
Come join us when we go to clean up Stadsparken by picking up trash and other stuff that people left behind. We will gather at Wermlands Nation at 15 and then go to the park together. In the evening, we will screen two short documentaries on sustainability in our basement.
While plogging essentially means to pick up trash while jogging, we will pick up trash in a more relaxed manner (by walking). Starting at Wermlands Nation we will make our way towards Stadsparken, picking up any trash we might find on the way and at our final destination. This way we will contribute to a cleaner Lund. Of course we will offer gloves and trashbags so that it is more enjoyable for everyone!
Later on during the day we will screen two short documentaries in the basement of Wermlands Nation. The first documentary is called ‘The Plastic Problem - A PBS NewsHour Documentary' and the second one is called 'Fast Fashion - The shady world of cheap clothing; DW Documentary’.
Anyone is welcome to attend either one or both activities - the more, the merrier!
OBS! The event will be held in English
